14 Pieces of advice to keep the car in perfect conditions

1- Check the engine's oil every third visit to the gas station and change it every 5,000 kilometers or every three months, whatever comes first. You should change the filter each time you change the oil.
2- Check the shock absorbers every three months.
3- Check the antifreeze level every third visit to the gas station. In places with low temperatures, do this every week.
4- In cars with transparent tanks, fill them up to the mark with a 50% of antifreeze and a 50% of water.
5- Check the battery levels each time you change the oil. If the cell levels are low, fill them with battery liquid or distilled water.
6- Check the bulbs in the sidelights, indicators, dipped headlights and full beams continually.
7- Change the oil filter every 5,000 kilometers or every three months when you change the oil.
8- Check the air filter every two months.
9- Check the windshield wipers before the rainy season begins. They can be changed if they are broken or fragile or at least once a year.
10- Check the hydraulic steering fluid once a month. Fill it when it has a low level and check the water bomb and the hoses to detect leaks.
11- Check the brakes' fluid once a month.
12- Check the windshield wipers fluid every time you visit the gas station. For a better result you should add water and window cleaner.
13- Check the transmission's fluid once a month. The engine must be warm and with the emergency brake on.
14- Check the tires pressure each time you go to the gas station. The tires should have the pressure recommended by the manufacturer. Check that the tires do not have cracks, swellings or wear since your safety is at risk. If you notice that the drawing in the tires is uneven it is necessary to make an alignment and balance. Rotate the tires every 15,000 kilometers and keep a record of the rotation.
